THE EILDON GROUP’S MISSION STATEMENT.
The organisations that form the Eildon Group
The Eildon Group consists of a parent company, Eildon Housing Association Ltd, founded in 1973, with three subsidiary organisations, Eildon Tweed Valley Housing Association Ltd, Eildon Enterprise Ltd and Eildon Trust. These organisations provide a range of community services including social rented housing, affordable home ownership, care and support services, agency and consultancy services for other housing providers and community organisations, and partnership projects supported by statutory agencies.
Eildon Housing Association Ltd consists of the following components:
Eildon Housing provides a comprehensive housing service for its tenants and applicants in need of a home. It owns over 1900 houses throughout the Scottish Borders and develops up to 100 additional houses each year.
Eildon Care and Support operates as a specialist function within Eildon Housing Association Ltd and provides a range of care and support services for a wide variety of clients including the elderly, vulnerable single people, people with a learning disability and people with dementia.
Eildon Tweed Valley Housing Association Ltd is a non-charitable housing association, providing a range of consultancy and agency services for other housing providers.
Eildon Enterprise Ltd is a not-for profit company, providing a range of services and projects for communities, including community regeneration projects, wider action initiatives and community support services.
Eildon Trust raises funds and provides grants to individuals and groups that form part of or support the aims of members of the Eildon Group.
