in People
Eildon first obtained 'Investors in People' accreditation
in 2000 and was successfully reviewed in 2002, 2004 and 2007 confirming the
organisation's commitment to valuing and training its staff.
Staff
Training
Eildon is serious about staff training. The Association has its own Training Officer and identifies individual staff training needs through
the Staff Appraisal Scheme and Departmental Training Plans
which are based on the Annual Review of the Associations 5
Year Strategic Plan.
Positive
about Disabilities
Eildon is positive about employing people with disabilities and fully
complies with the requirements of the 'Positive about Disabilities'
symbol monitored by Job Centre Plus.
Pensions
The Association offers all staff a Final Salary Pension Scheme operated
by the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations which is administered
by The Pensions Trust.
I.T.
Eildon ensures that all staff have the most efficient I.T. equipment
and software relevant to their posts. All office based staff having
their own PC's with email facilities/QL and Aareon Software.
Employee
Assistance Programme
Eildon subscribes to an Employee Assistance Programme run by I.C.A.S. which provides confidential assistance and advice to staff and their close relatives on a wide range of work related and domestic issues that may be affecting their work-life balance.
Scotland's Health at Work
The Association obtained the Scotland's Health at Work Bronze Award in 2004. The Association is committed to building a healthy workforce, a healthy workplace and a healthy organisation.
