How your complaint is handled by Eildon
Should you make a complaint to Eildon, in person or on the telephone you will be requested, wherever possible, to confirm details in writing. Written accounts strengthen a case should further action prove necessary.
Mixed Tenures
Eildon has a number of properties which are mixed tenure (where some of the residents are not Eildon tenants but may for instance be owner occupiers). Where the complaint is about a tenant from a non-tenant then the Association will pursue the complaint (please see your Tenant Handbook for further details).
Where, however, the nuisance is being caused by a non-tenant the Association will attempt to resolve the problem through informal, non-legal remedies such as mediation. The Association will give support and assistance to tenants who are experiencing anti-social behaviour from a non-tenant.
