Some charities offer help to meet fuel bills, particularly those for ex-service personnel. Please see below services and charities which may be able to help. You can also get information on relevant charities in the "Charities Digest" or in "A guide to Grants for Individuals in Need" from your local reference library.
Please note that the demand on charities is high, especially for fuel debts and they will therefore often refuse to help where Fuel Direct (through DWP) or some other budgeting scheme is available.
