Our team at Teviot Court and Frank Scott Court deliver a high quality service within the community of Hawick.
Frank Scott Court and Teviot Court provides housing with additional support services that enable older people to live independently and enjoy a good quality of life within the community. Our sheltered housing developments offer a warm friendly atmosphere and a safe secure setting that is suitable for people with restricted mobility. Our staff provide general support, help with housing issues and assistance in emergency.
Teviot Court has 44 self-contained flats and Frank Scott Court has 19 flats. Both developments have communal areas including a lounge, a dining room, laundry and guest rooms. We also offer a midday meal service.
One aspect of our role is to organise social events throughout the year for our tenants, with the Common Riding Concert being one of the main attractions. In the spring, Teviot Court celebrated its 25 year anniversary and the team organised a full day of activities for residents which included a 3-course meal and entertainment.
A recent Care Inspectorate inspection awarded us scores of 5, which has the rating of ‘very good’, an achievement that has made us all very proud.
The staff team consists of Margo Brown (Co-ordinator), Ruth Tripovic, Marion Donaldson & Nicola Huggan (assistant co-ordinators) and Andrew Cairns, Janet Gray & Carol Rafferty (domestic assistants – not in photo).
