| Furnished Tenancies |
| Some
tenants have difficulty in accepting a tenancy unless it is furnished.
In certain circumstances we can provide furnished accommodation for
an additional charge to the normal rent. We can also put tenants in
contact with other organisations who can help with furniture. |
Tenancy
Support Services
| Some
tenants may find difficulty in sustaining a tenancy without the help
of a support worker to help them establish, maintain and manage their
tenancy. Eildon has specialist staff available to visit individuals
on a regular basis to help them gain the skills and confidence required
to successfully maintain their tenancy. Members of our Tenancy Support
Team will be pleased to discuss this further with any existing tenant
or applicant who feels they require this service. More information is
available in a brochure to be found on this Web Site at Care
and Support Services. |

Welfare
Benefits Advice
| Eildon
employs its own Welfare Benefits Officer to help tenants to understand
their rights and access to Benefit Entitlement. This advice can help
many tenants to maximise their income to prevent them falling into rent
arrears and enjoy a better quality of life. |

and nominate representatives to sit on its Committee. ETO is recognised
by Eildon's Committee of Management as the independent voice of Eildon
Tenants and receives a grant from Eildon Housing Association to enable
it to function independently. ETO plays an increasingly important role
in the affairs of Eildon providing valuable advice and feedback to the
organisation on all matters affecting tenants. |

| Eildon
