Our Maintenance Services Team
Each year around 5000 requests for maintenance orders are dealt with by
our maintenance team based in our Galashiels and Melrose Offices.
Eildon Housing's team are responsible for all aspects of
our maintenance responsibility including day to day repairs requested
by tenants, cyclical maintenance work to all houses, including painterwork
and heating appliances checks, and long term component replacement programmes
when properties require to be modernised every 20 years.
All maintenance requests by tenants are made initially
to our Galashiels Office and forwarded to our Maintenance Inspection team
based in our Melrose Office. They are responsible for ensuring all work
complies with our rigorous specifications and completed on time and on
budget.
The Maintenance Section also provides information
on our housing database and organises our cyclical maintenance work in
accordance with our Programme.
