As Eildon Housing Association Ltd is a Charity, the vast majority of our
tenants do not have a Right-to-Buy their homes.
The exceptions to this are those tenants with a preserved Right-to-Buy
who live in Eildon properties we have purchased from another landlord
such as Scottish Homes. Where these tenants decide to buy their own home
we will discuss, with them, if they wish us to provide a common repairs
service for a fee, for those parts of the development they share with other
Eildon tenants.
For Sharing Owners, their rent is reduced to reflect their responsibility
for maintaining their home. Where Sharing Owners live in a flatted development
we will discuss, with them, if they would like to enter into a formal Factoring
Agreement for the Common Repairs of the development.
