Eildon Scoops Top National Award

Eildon Housing Association's largest single development has picked up a prestigious national award.
Laidlaw Court in Galashiels was named as 'The Waterside Development of the Year' at the Scottish Home Awards ceremony in Edinburgh on the 9th June. The development, designed by architects Patience & Highmore, beat off strong competition from some of Scotland's leading private housebuilders.
Commenting on the success, Nile Istephan Chief Executive said:
"Having this high quality new development recognised in this way is great news for Eildon Housing Association and the Borders as a whole. A lot of hard work and planning goes into the creation of a development such as this, and I'd like to offer my thanks and congratulations to Eildon staff members and the design and construction teams."
Another of Eildon's recent developments, Yarrowford Grazings, was recognised as a finalist in the categories of 'Rural Development of the Year' and Small Affordable Housing Development of the Year'.
