Partnership Working - Eildon links in with Borders Carers Centre

Eildon has agreed to support The Princess Royal Trust Borders Carers Centre which is based at Brewerybrig, Low Buckholmside, Galashiels by publicising its services on the Eildon website and by enclosing their leaflet our Tenants Newsletter.
The Centre which has been set up to provide advice, information and support to carers or former carers is an independent charity managed by a local management committee and carers and former carers are represented on its management committee.
The Carers Centre offers a FREE, confidential and impartial service for carers and former carers. This help includes:
- A listening ear and emotional support
- Help to access community care and health services
- Carers support groups, including young carers
- Home visits
- Funding for breaks and equipment
- Training for carers
- Form filling
- A regular newsletter
- Social activities
- Free complimentary therapies

The Centre is open from Monday to Friday 10am to 2 pm and has disabled access.
Visits can be provided at carers' homes, or at a mutually convenient location, if unable to get to the Centre.
