The New Money Advice Service in Scotland
Date: 25/10/2011
Citizens Advice Bureau is now delivering face-to-face money advice sessions across Scotland on behalf of the Money Advice Service.
The aim is to help people to take charge and stay in control of their money. Advice is provided to enable people to make the right financial decisions before a crisis is reached. Their trained advisors can cover anything from budgeting and saving, credit and borrowing, mortgages, insurance, pensions and retirement planning. Their advisors can also help with understanding tax and welfare benefits, and explaining the technical language used in the financial services industry.
This new service is in addition to the current debt advice which Citizens Advice Bureau provides such as crisis debt management, income maximisation and negotiation with creditors.
