Urgent repairs are where prompt attention is needed to prevent any deterioration to the property or undue risk or inconvenience to the tenant. We aim to carry out urgent repairs within 3 working days.
Examples of urgent repairs:
- Broken/leaking sanitary fitting
- Overflow running onto footpath
- Faulty locks to external doors
- Minor roof leaks not causing damage
- Electric fire or storage heater not working
- Extractor fan not operating in a room with no window
Routine repairs are minor defects which may cause some inconvenience but where it is not essential to carry out an immediate repair. We aim to carry out routine repairs within 15 working days.
Examples of routine repairs:
- Re-securing loose sanitary fittings
- Renewing washers
- Doors difficult to open/close
- Broken kitchen unit doors
- Blocked/leaking rhones
- Loose radiator
