Winter Fuel Payments are non means-tested and tax free payments to help older people to keep warm during the winter. You need to be aged 60 or over in the week beginning on the third Monday in September (the qualifying week). Payment will be still made if you are working.
You do not have to make a claim and will automatically get a payment if you have received a Winter Fuel Payment before. Please see the list below to see how much you should receive:
