Aims and Objectives

Introduction

Each year the Board of Eildon Housing Association review the Group's Aims and Objectives to ensure the Business Activities are consistent with the Group's Mission Statement.  This information is available in more detail within the Group's 5 Year Strategic Plan, a copy of which is available below as a download.

The Group's Vision for the Next 5 Years

Our 5 Year strategy outlines how we will build on our strengths, promote continuous improvement, and reflect the challenges and opportunities that we see ahead.  

Eildon Housing Association will continue to deliver effective, efficient and responsive services to tenants. We will ensure that both new and existing tenants are supported in a way appropriate to their needs and that we follow through on service developments that have been highlighted to us through the recent Customer Satisfaction Survey.  We will continue to develop our reactive repairs processes and will, as a result of the profile of our properties, increasingly invest in a major repairs programme.  In addition, where opportunities and finances allow, we will continue to meet housing need by developing new properties.

Eildon Care and Support will build on our excellent reputation in the delivery of services to people with learning disabilities, older people (including those with dementia), vulnerable single people and people with a physical disability.

Eildon Enterprise will continue to deliver the Care and Repair service for the Scottish Borders and will adapt this service in the coming year to respond to funding changes.  Eildon Enterprise will also seek to develop other activities, principally focussed on emerging opportunities for mid market rent properties in the Borders.

In addition to our planned activities, we remain committed to responding to challenges and opportunities as they emerge.  We work closely with a wide range of strategic partners to ensure we are at the leading edge of new activities.
