Eildon Tweed Valley can provide a wide range of services for other housing associations, no matter what size of organisation they are or where in Scotland they are situated.

The secret to Eildon Tweed Valley's success in providing efficient and cost effective services is the approach adopted in the delivery of each service. Services to other rural housing associations are delivered from a local office by staff recruited locally who have a commitment to the local association receiving the service. A local co-ordinator employed by Eildon is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Agency Service and reporting to the client organisation's Committee of Management for the efficiency of the service offered. Locally based staff employed by Eildon are supported by Eildon's range of specialist Managers and Directors who are available to assist operational Agency staff. They are also available to prepare papers for and attend Committee Meetings whenever new initiatives, policies and procedures need to be developed. The cost of this expertise is provided by Eildon on a marginalised cost basis, thereby guaranteeing to the client organisation maximum value for money.

Marginalised costing is possible as most initiatives will already have been tried and tested by Eildon itself and the pioneering work required has probably already been paid for by Eildon, thereby saving the client association having to fund similar activities.
