Eildon Enterprise has been set up to provide a range of services to help local community based initiatives.

With the introduction of Community Planning and the recognition by the Scottish Executive of the value of the social economy, the time is right to promote community led initiatives.

In conjunction with our New Ways Partners, the Eildon Group, through Eildon Enterprise Ltd is now in a position to help local communities in the following ways:

•	assist with feasibility studies
•	produce Business Plans for specific projects
•	act as consultants for the procurement of land and/or buildings
•	provide training on employment issues, finance, health and safety
•	support local groups to set up local businesses
•	advice on raising funds and private finance
•	obtain grants for local organisations through Communities Scotland
•	provide maintenance contracts for community owned property
•	carry out building surveys and improvement proposals.

Eildon Enterprise Ltd will also work in Partnership with other voluntary Agencies and Trusts to help them deliver services more effectively. Eildon supports local Councils for Voluntary Services and the Rural Resource Centre based at Tweed Horizons and we also work closely with many individual organisations based throughout the Borders Communities.
