Picasso comes to the Borders thanks to Eildon Housing and Hart Builders

Exciting Borders artwork from Primary schools across Galashiels has kicked off this week after they received their delivery of wood, paints and brushes from our Community Benefits Officer.

This fantastic project involves all age groups from Clovenfords, Stow, Burgh, St Peters, Langlee, Tweedbank and St Margaret’s Primary schools. The finished artwork will decorate the fencing at Huddersfield street where Eildon Housing association and Hart Builders are building flats on the empty field behind New Look. The artwork will also be entered into the Ivor Goodsite Hoarding competition which is designed to encourage children and people of all ages to channel their ‘Inner Picasso’ and paint collaborative masterpieces on construction site hoardings throughout the UK and Ireland.

We can’t wait to see the finished project.
