Millar House very sheltered housing is set within lovely gardens in Melrose, and has six flatlets in a converted Victorian house, as well as a group of nine cottages in the grounds. There is a bus stop just outside the gate, with regular services into the centre of the village and Galashiels. Melrose is picturesque, with beautiful walks and historical landmarks nearby.
Millar House has a warm, friendly atmosphere which offers secure, good quality homes for older people. The upstairs flatlets in the original house can be accessed via stairs and a stairlift, while downstairs and two of the cottages in the grounds are accessible to wheelchair users.
If you live in the main house, two meals a day in the shared dining room are included in your service charge. Tenants living in the cottages can also choose to eat here for an extra charge.
