Strategy

The strategy for the Eildon Group over the next five years responds to some significant challenges in an ambitious and progressive way. It also covers the period during which we will mark 50 years of service to the people and communities that we were set up to support.

Sustainability

Our work on sustainability and helping to deliver a just transition to a net zero-carbon economy is key to our strategy. We will progress our plans to invest heavily in our property assets to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions, as well as taking steps to become a ‘Greener Eildon’.

Social care needs

We will be working to address the social care needs of our communities. We will progress further plans to develop high quality, residential based older people’s housing and care services as well as further develop our approach to support adults with learning disabilities and seek to build on the suc

By delivering up to 800 affordable, high quality, sustainable new homes, our strategy looks to help address the housing supply needs of our region.

Customer needs, pressures and aspirations

We recognise the challenges being faced by our customers we will be developing and expanding our support, advice and assistance services to provide a range of universal and targeted measures.
