Manage my home

Supporting you to manage your home with us.

Whether you’re a tenant, resident or shared owner in an Eildon Housing Association home, we’re all part of the same community, and we appreciate your support in making our housing service as good as it can be.

Managing your home

Your rent includes a contribution towards the cost of repair and maintenance at your home.

Depending on the kind of work involved, Eildon Housing is responsible for some jobs, and you are responsible for others. You can check what we are responsible for and what you are responsible for in your tenancy agreement or Tenant Handbook. Most of our tenants keep their homes in good condition, but where damage is caused deliberately or through neglect the repairs needed will be fixed at the tenant’s cost. These are known as ‘rechargeable repairs’. Find out more about repair and maintenance.

Wherever possible we provide car parking for you as a resident and your visitors at our developments. These are communal or allocated spaces to specific properties. In some areas there are garages to rent, and a few properties have garages attached. Find out more.

Shared ownership means you own a share in your house and we own the remainder. Find out more.

Tenant requests

Eildon tenants can apply to exchange homes with another Eildon tenant or a tenant of a Council or Housing Association anywhere in Scotland as long as both parties live in self contained accommodation and have a Scottish Secure Tenancy Agreement.

When a tenant has identified another tenant to exchange with, both parties have to complete our Mutual Exchange application form.

If you want to request to make alternations to your home please fill in this form.

If you are looking to sublet your home please complete our Sublet Form
