The role of a Board Member

Our Board Members are responsible for providing leadership through the development and oversight of our strategic vision.

The Board meets nine times a year, and Board Members also need to attend additional committee meetings, and a strategic planning day. Most meetings take place in the early evening.

Our Board Members are responsible for providing leadership to the Association through the development and oversight of our strategic vision. We meets 9 times a year and you will be required to attend additional Committee meetings, and a strategic planning day. Most meetings take place in the early evening, with remote as well as in person attendance available. Full induction and on-going training will be provided.

Although this is a voluntary position, Board Members are reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses.

We’re keen to ensure that our Board is made up of people reflecting the diversity of our local communities, and we need a good mix of skills and experience.
