Michael Patterson

Overview

I joined Eildon in 2004 as part of the team that set up the Borders Care and Repair Service. In my current role as Property Manager I am responsible for the Repairs, Maintenance and Compliance of the Housing Stock, along with the Modernisation works through the Home Improvement Team. I also oversee the activity of the Borders Care and Repair Service. Across these services I have a team of 18 staff, and an additional five Occupational Therapists seconded from Scottish Borders Council.

I started in Housing in 1997 in various roles within SBC’s Housing Team and prior to that I set up and ran a joinery and contracting business locally.

In my spare time I am a keen golfer and enjoy walking my two Labradors.
