The outgoing Chair, Cathie Fancy, had previously indicated that she would retire at this AGM. The new Board met following the AGM and duly elected Mr Brian Frater as Chair along with new Vice Chair, Mr Chris Highton.

Highlights on the night included:

Board Elections: Following a successful recruitment process, a ballot of shareholders was required to elect a new Board for the coming year.

Following the close of formal business, a presentation was given to departing Chair Cathie Fancy.

Brian Frater said on behalf of the board, “We want to thank Cathie Fancy for her three years as our Chair, and for the previous years as a board member. Cathie has guided us through a very turbulent period following the Covid pandemic and we hope that she now goes on to enjoy a well-deserved rest and precious times with her grandchildren.”

Cathie thanked the Board and gave special thanks to her mentor Dave Alexander who guided her in the beginning as Chair of Eildon.  Cathie said, “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as Chair which fell at such an important time, seeing Eildon grow in size and reach. I will greatly miss my Eildon Board colleagues and staff members, but I do look forward to having more quality time to spend with my family.”

At the Board Meeting following the AGM, the Board agreed to co-opt Ms Emma Downie.
