Eildon Housing Association is a leading housing and care provider in the Scottish Borders with nearly 50 years’ experience of serving our communities. We are growing rapidly to serve the needs of our communities and are in the process of developing our next strategy, which will commit us to further exciting and important growth projects.   

We are proud of our current services and are focussed on a process of continual improvement so that we can continue to meet the changing needs of our customers.   

If you are committed to excellence in the provision of housing, care and support services, and want to play an important and rewarding role in a successful and ambitious charitable organisation, we would like to hear from you.  

We are looking for people with the right skills and experience to join our Board to help us build on our success.  

Our Board members are responsible for providing leadership to the Association through the development and oversight of our strategic vision. In particular, we are looking for new Board members who can demonstrate knowledge and skills in housing management services and a commitment to the Scottish Borders.   

Our Board meets 9 times a year and Board members will also be required to attend additional Committee meetings, and a strategic planning day. Most meetings take place in the early evening, with remote as well as in person attendance available. Full induction and on-going training will be provided.  

Although this is a voluntary position, Board members are reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses.  

We are keen that the composition of our Board reflects the diversity of our local communities, and we would particularly welcome interest from female candidates.
